Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining all QA methodologies and best practices for our new SaaS delivered software solution. He/she will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including playing a key role in all design and development meetings. The Senior QA Engineer must be able to work well with developers, subject matter experts and executives. Direct responsibilities would include developing test harnesses, test plans, test cases, and test scripts using both manual and automated tools. This position will report to the Director of Solution Architecture.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and the following experience:
- 3+ years developing and utilizing automated test scripts using a major market tool for a Web-based software product
- Excellent communication skills
- Development experience in Java or plSQL a plus but not required
Successful applications will have specific experience:
- Developing test harnesses to perform black box testing of services
- Developing test plans, test cases and documenting test results
- Determining strategy for test case traceability and test coverage
- Working closely with teams throughout the entire development life cycle to elicit and manage the QA process
-Building automated test suites for user acceptance, performance, load/stress, functional and regression testing
- Entering and maintain defect information in defect tracking system
Senior
Statistician
Seeking individual(s)
with a doctorate (e.g., Ph.D.,ScD) in biostatistics, statistics, or a
related field who have a strong record as a principal statistician in
randomized clinical trials and clinical research with extensive
experience in consultation, grant writing, project management and
supervision, and collaborative and independent research. The ideal
candidate would have an interest in developing new methodologies and
developing new applications for existing methodologies in the area of
medical statistics and/or clinical trial design/analysis.
The successful candidate will be expected to take an active leadership
role in on-going clinical trials and epidemiologic studies, to
participate in the development of grants and applications for new
research studies, and to participate in clinical statistical
methodology development and applications.
C-TASC, incorporated on April 6, 1989, is a small for profit
organization established to conduct research in the public interest,
especially in the field of medical therapy evaluation.
Benefits
Our standard benefits include 14 holidays per year, one day of annual
leave per month which increases to 2 days/month over a four year period
of full-time service, and one day of sick leave per month. Health
insurance benefits (PPN - Preferred Provider Network plan, dental,
prescription) are available to employees at a reasonable charge
starting at $7/per two-week pay period for individual coverage or
$14/per two-week pay period for family coverage. Employees are eligible
for employer- paid group term life insurance and long- term disability
insurance. After six (6) months of employment with C-TASC, employees
are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Century Plan. Matching
contributions from C-TASC will include 3% of salary, and if employee
participates with a salary deferral, 10% of employee’s
contribution up to the maximum allowed ($15,500 limit for year 2007).
After one year of service, employees are eligible to participate in the
Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) offering allocations of C-TASC
