C-TASC History

Clinical Trials & Surveys Corporation (C-TASC) was founded in 1989 to coordinate, manage and provide statistical support for clinical trials and observational studies. 

C-TASC is a 100% employee owned business having recently completed a management led buyout from Maryland Medical Research Institute (MMRI), a leader in clinical trials management for over 30 years. 

C-TASC has led the design and conduct of clinical trials, cohort studies, cross-sectional studies and case-control studies for over 15 years. Our Professional staff includes MDs, PhD Biostatisticians and MS Statisticians with experience in coordinating all types of studies.   

Our software group, CTASC Software, is led by software industry veterans with experience in designing, developing, releasing and managing Software as a Service and other web-based solutions. In 2006 C-TASC invested heavily in the creation of a data center to securely host and manage a large number of studies. We also transformed our data management team into a fully functional software shop leading to the recent release of our Site Visit eCRF (SVS) product and StudyCTMS.com.

C-TASC has worked with government, academic and private industry sponsors and has never had a cost overrun on any project.
