Senior Java Developer
The Senior Developer will work directly with the CIO to advance C-TASC's Java application environment and lead design and development of new JAVA products and features. This pivotal professional will be responsible for all phases of project life cycle, including definition, time/work estimates, application design/analysis, development, testing, documentation, and implementation. Additionally, the Senior Developer will also be responsible for leading projects, mentoring other team members and assisting in the resolution of day-to-day application problems. The position reports to the CIO, Vice President of Technology. Requires 3 to 8 years Java development experience and at least 2 years of AJAX experience.
Senior Statistician
Seeking individual(s) with a doctorate (e.g., Ph.D.,ScD) in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field who have a strong record as a principal statistician in randomized clinical trials and clinical research with extensive experience in consultation, grant writing, project management and supervision, and collaborative and independent research. The ideal candidate would have an interest in developing new methodologies and developing new applications for existing methodologies in the area of medical statistics and/or clinical trial design/analysis.
The successful candidate will be expected to take an active leadership role in on-going clinical trials and epidemiologic studies, to participate in the development of grants and applications for new research studies, and to participate in clinical statistical methodology development and applications.
Statisticians (Multiple positions)
Provide statistical expertise in the areas of clinical trials and/or observational study protocols. Responsible for procedure manual development, database management, data quality control, data quality assurance, and analysis plans. Collaborate with investigators to complete joint scientific reports and publications. Contribute to the proper use of statistical methodologies for a study and optimal study design. Program statistical analysis of clinical trial data using SAS. Generate and validate tables and graphs for assigned projects. Manage database in SAS.
Must have a Master's Degree in biostatistics, statistics, or related field. Must have 6 months of experience performing statistical analysis of data gathered during various projects; experience must include experience with SAS programming and medical research. Required experience maybe gained during the course of an internship or other employment during or after completion of degree.
Benefits
Our standard benefits include 14 holidays per year, one day of annual leave per month which increases to 2 days/month over a four year period of full-time service, and 5 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) annually. Health insurance benefits (PPO - Preferred Provider Network plan, dental, prescription, and vision) are available to employees at a reasonable charge starting at $10/per two-week pay period for individual coverage or $20/per two-week pay period for family coverage. Employees are eligible for employer- paid group term life insurance and short and long- term disability insurance. After six (6) months of employment with C-TASC, employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Century Plan. Matching contributions from C-TASC will include 3% of salary, and if employee participates with a salary deferral, 10% of employee's contribution up to the maximum allowed ($16,500 limit for year 2010).
After one year of service, employees are eligible to participate in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) offering allocations of C-TASC stock.
