Bruce
Thompson, PhD
Chairman of the Board and
President
Dr. Thompson, the senior biostatistician at C-TASC, has over 20 years of
experience with multicenter clinical trials and has co-authored more
than 85 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is currently the
Principal Investigator (PI) for three NIH studies. He has developed the
statistical analyses required to shape the clinical design of these
studies and other large clinical trials coordinated by C-TASC.
Dr. Thompson has a BA in Microbiology from the University of Missouri
and a PhD in Biostatistics from Johns Hopkins University.
Margaret
Frederick, PhD
Vice
President
Dr. Frederick is a biostatistician and Vice-President of C-TASC. She has
over 20 years experience in biomedical research and has co-authored
more than 25 articles in peer-reviewed journals. She is currently the
PI for one NIH study and a Co-PI for two others.
Margaret received her BS in Chemistry (minor Mathematics) from
Randolph-Macon College and her PhD in Biostatistics from the Medical
College of Virginia/VCU.
She currently resides in Ellicott City, Maryland with her children
Michael and Stephen.
Joseph
Valeri, MBA, MS, RD
Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Joe Valeri is the CIO and Vice President of C-TASC. He has over 15
years experience designing and managing robust software applications
and data centers. In 2000 Mr. Valeri co-founded Lucernex Technologies and
designed and built a market leading web-based application platform. He also
spent over 10 years at Marriott in their Healthcare Management division (now part of Sodexho USA)
and was Chief of Clinical Nutrition of two major New York Hospitals.
He received a BS from the University of Maryland in Dietetics, an RD
after a clinical internship at Yale New Haven Hospital, an MBA in
Finance from the Smith School of Business and an MS in Decision
and Information Technologies from the University of Maryland.
Mr. Valeri resides in Ellicott City, MD with his wife Jill and three
children Anthony, Malia and Angelina.
Chris Donhauser, MBA
Executive Director
Christopher G. Donhauser, M.B.A., the C-TASC Executive Director, is responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of C-TASC. Mr. Donhauser has worked on grant and contract administration related to clinical trials for over twenty years. He is very familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Federal Grants Management policies. Mr. Donhauser has been responsible for numerous contract/grant business proposals, contract/grant negotiations, indirect cost proposals and audits of contract and grant budgets and proposals. He has an undergraduate degree in accounting and has a working knowledge of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circulars (A21, A110, A-122, and A-133) and FAR cost principles.
Mr. Donhauser is the current Treasurer of the Society for Clinical Trials and a member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).
